캐런 스왈로우 프라이어(사우스이스턴침례신학교 교수, On Reading Well 저자)미국 뉴욕주립대학교(버팔로)에서 박사 학위를 받은 사우스이스턴 침례신학교 영어 및 기독교 문화 연구 교수이다. Booked: Literature in the Soul of Me(T. S. Poetry Press, 2012), Fierce Convictions: The Extraordinary Life of Hannah More—Poet, Reformer, Abolitionist (Thomas Nelson, 2014)를 집필했으며, Christianity Today, the Atlantic, the Washington Post, First things, Vox, Think Christian, The Gospel Coalition 등 다양한 매체에 기고했다.
